CC   hemagglutinins of these viruses has given some idea of the
CC   molecular basis of antigenic variation in type B viruses. Antigenic
CC   drift proceeds mostly through accumulation of amino acid
CC   substitutions within the HA1 portion of the HA molecule; this
CC   variation among the B viruses is lower than that of the A viruses
CC   [1].
