General Description
This is a mycovirus genus in the family
Alphaflexiviridae. The name is derived from the type (and only) member,
Botrytis virus
X.
Morphology
Virions filamentous, flexuous, not enveloped, about 720 nm long and 12-13 nm in diameter.
Genome
Monopartite, linear, polyadenylated ssRNA of about 7 kb.
